The Fujica ST 705W is a robust and well regarded 35mm film camera from the late 1970s. It offers an M42 screw mount which will accept a wide range of vintage lenses with the M42 mount. Our Fujica offered here comes as a kit with the Fujinon 55mm F1.8. This lens, and other Fujinons allow open aperture metering whereas most other M42 lenses have stop down metering. The silicon-diode meter cell is a reliable and accurate upgrade on the more common CDS meter cells. The focus is easy to use being split image and microprism - The viewfinder is large and bright. A top shutter speed of 1/1500 is unusual for a vintage camera and appreciated for shooting in bright conditions. The shutter, being mechanical will operate without battery power - only needed for the meter. Comes with a very nice, original ever ready half case and a fresh pair of LR44 cells. Some brassing on the top plate is a downgrade from A+ to A. No operational effect at all.
